Waste and recycling
Waste collections that fit what you throw away.
Many businesses pay for bigger bins or more collections than they need. We connect you with licensed waste companies. They collect, and your contract and waste transfer notes are with them.
What we do
Right-sized collections
General waste, dry mixed recycling, glass and food waste, at a frequency that suits your trade.
Duty-of-care paperwork
Waste transfer notes from your waste company, so you can show where your waste went.
Simpler Recycling
In England, workplaces with 10 or more employees have had to separate recycling since 31 March 2025, and micro-firms must by 31 March 2027.
What we look at
- Bin sizes, numbers and lift charges
- Collection frequency against real volumes
- Recycling streams you are required to separate
- Contract length, auto-renewal and notice terms
- Duty-of-care records
What we need from you
- A recent bill or invoice for each site
- Your contract end date, if you know it
- For energy and gas, a signed Letter of Authority so we can see your usage and contract
- Someone who can approve a new contract
You decide whether to go ahead. Nothing changes until you sign. Part of Utilities.
Questions
Are you a waste carrier?
No. We introduce you to licensed waste companies, and you contract with them directly. They collect your waste and give you the paperwork.
What do I have to recycle?
In England, Simpler Recycling requires most workplaces to separate dry recyclables, glass, paper and card, and food waste. Rules differ in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
